The Challenge

A Series B HealthTech company offering advanced medical imaging needed to scale its customer-facing platform while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Patients struggled to understand their MRI results, the booking system couldn't handle growing demand, and the legacy REST API was becoming a bottleneck for frontend teams building radiologist dashboards.

Our Approach

We migrated the API layer from REST to GraphQL to unify data access for multiple frontend clients. We built a RAG-based AI customer support system that could answer patient questions about their imaging results using retrieval-augmented generation over medical documentation. We redesigned the online booking flow for scalability and implemented HIPAA-compliant data handling throughout.
